I work from home a fair bit with my job, and I also work full time, so I had to jerry rig an 'office' together. I have zero furniture, and I sure don't have any money to buy more furniture, so I used the dining table the guy who moved out abandoned here. Its gross and dirty but pretty solid and comes with some crappy chairs.

I brought my own office chair, and set up my speakers so I could listen to music. It's honestly not a bad setup, kind of nice having it central to the house because it is where I spend the majority of my day and if I need to get up and grab something, everything is equal distance away. Which is stupid and lazy but whatever. It 'feels' nice or whatever.

Here's a sketch of my current upstairs floorplan (left) vs my end goal floor plan (right). Nothing is measures, so I'm not totally sure if that would be possible. I definitely would have to move nearly every interior wall except the load bearing wall underneath my laminated beam, but that isn't too difficult considering all the drywall is in awful condition anyways and the home has zero soundproofing.
